Robotic Valve Bag Placers

The PASCO Series 2020 Robotic Valve Bag Placer utilizes a patent pending design offering precise automatic placement of kraft or plastic bags on up to four valve spouts at speeds in excess of 20 bags per minute. This system includes a FANUC M-10iA robot that can be integrated with most brands and types of valve bag filling equipment while performing accurately in even the harshest environments.

The empty bag magazine conveyor is easily adjustable for different bag sizes and can be refilled "on the fly."

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

  • FANUC M-10iA compact six axis robot is engineered for precision high-speed operation (20+ bpm) in tight workspaces with repeatability of +/- 0.08mm
  • Empty bag magazine conveyor is modular in design allowing for multiple layout configurations Two unique bag separation devices provide efficient and reliable operation
  • Mechanical "duck bill" style valve bag opener ensures each bag is held in the open position, even if it is glued
  • PASCO's end of arm mechanical bag gripper removes each bag from the valve opener and places it onto the spout(s)
  • System is capable of placing bags on multiple spouts at different heights and angles
  • Ability to integrate two empty bag magazine conveyors allowing the robot to place different bags onto different fillers at the same time
