ABOUT PASCO

Since 1976, PASCO has engineered automation systems that eliminate manual handling in the toughest manufacturing environments worldwide. From our St. Louis, MO-based facility, we’ve manufactured, installed and supported over 2,000 end-of-line systems that keep production moving in 650+ facilities across the globe.

Five decades of building better packaging automation systems

We build automation that lasts by controlling what matters. Family-owned since 1976, we’ve manufactured every critical component in-house, solving real problems with solutions we can stand behind.

BEGINNING

Where it started

Two engineers and a fabricator started by eliminating manual drum lifting at Monsanto in 1976 as PALCO. Their mechanical palletizer proved automation could work where others failed: fewer injuries, faster throughput.

EVOLUTION

5 decades of packaging solutions

Our evolution tracks manufacturing’s needs: mechanical palletizers in 1976 to FANUC robotics in 2004. CEO Sandy Dunkel Elfrink has led the family business for 30 years, breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry. Her early championing of robotic automation has led to industry-wide innovations in systems that optimize entire production lines.

FUTURE-FORWARD

Building for tomorrow’s production

Manufacturing faces increasing demands for smart factory integration and automated quality control, all while struggling with labor shortages. We’re developing intelligent automation systems that embrace the future of American manufacturing.

MISSION

Our systems perform so your production lines deliver. We support your long-term production success by providing:

INNOVATIVE ENGINEERING

UNQUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY

A PROUD DIVISION OF PASCO SYSTEMS CORP

In 2023, PASCO® and Versatech™ came together as two divisions of Pasco Systems Corp. Manufacturing lines now get complete automation from a single source – combining Versatech’s upstream process automation with PASCO’s downstream packaging solutions.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE LESS TERRIBLE

Manufacturing automation works because of people, not just machines. Our teams average 12+ years with PASCO, and many exceed 20 years. This isn’t an accident – we invest in keeping expertise in-house because we know our people are our greatest asset.

“Less terrible” started as a joke but became our standard for doing business. It means rejecting industry shortcuts and instead doing what’s right for manufacturing. Our engineers take pride in building systems that run for decades. Our machinists maintain tolerances that keep production moving. Our techs show up when lines go down. Not because it’s easier or cheaper, but because it’s what manufacturing deserves.

Our people stay at PASCO because they see their work make a difference. They watch their solutions keep production lines moving year after year. They’ve dedicated their careers to solving real manufacturing challenges, and that commitment drives everything we do.

When you invest in a PASCO system, you get more than equipment – you get a team of experts who take personal pride in keeping your production moving.
